Tiffany & Co were the main customers of Touchon & Co. No other company or individual bought more of their watches to sell on. In some instances, Tiffany simply signed the dial. In other cases, the fact that the watch was made for Tiffany by Touchon is recorded on the case and movement, although particularly with the wristwatches where space was an issue, only the Touchon name appears here, even if it was specifically made for Tiffany.

During the period that Tiffany purchased Touchon watches, they also purchased from Patek Philippe, Meylan, Agassiz and others. In terms of quality, in my view the Touchon items are on a par with the Patek ones and in any event more desirable in terms of rarity as you can still buy Pateks now, whereas your chance of buying a Tiffany Touchon ended in 1921 after only 14 years !........ how exclusive do you want to be ?
